WELCOME!

Welcome to the National Medical Halacha Society Blog. This website will serve as the temporary site for all postings and NMHS info. So far, the NMHS has started off with a bang! @100 medical and undergrad students and residents attended the inaugural meeting held at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Thank you to Dr. Reichman for delivering a fascinating shuir on the "Anatomy of Halacha".
If you would like to be included in the NMHS email list use the link to the NMHS google group on the top right of the page.

Shalom Aleichem and congratulations on initiating what appears to be an excellent project!

It looks like this is intended for medical students, residents, and physicians. Might it be desirable to serve the broader observant medical populations - nurses, PAs, PTs, paramedics, Nurse Practitioners, etc? Would this require any adjustments, or just attracting those 'other' (*not* as in 'Acher') medical Jews?

Again, many blessings on this endeavour.

Not a physician, but married to one...

Wonderful suggestion. I guess this would cover Hatzalah too.
